Man arrested for exposing himself inside Burbank business

Burbank police took a man into custody on Tuesday after reports that he walked into a local business without a shirt and exposed himself to employees and customers. The incident occurred in the early afternoon at a retail establishment near the intersection of San Fernando Boulevard and Olive Avenue, according to authorities.

Officers responded to a 911 call from the store manager, who said the suspect entered the premises acting erratically. Witnesses told police the man removed his shirt before approaching the front counter, then lowered his pants and exposed himself. Several customers left the store immediately, and staff locked the back office door while waiting for law enforcement to arrive.

When officers got to the scene, they found the suspect still inside the store, standing near the checkout area. He did not resist arrest and was taken into custody without further incident. Police identified him as a 34-year-old Burbank resident, though his name has not been released pending formal charges.

The man was booked at the Burbank city jail on a misdemeanor count of indecent exposure. No injuries were reported, but several witnesses were visibly shaken, police said. The store reopened about an hour later after officers cleared the scene and reviewed security footage.
