Community leaders from Middlefield Village, Burton Village, and Burton Township gathered on July 6 to welcome Ramon Arellano to the new home of his Kaballos Mexican Kitchen and Bar. The event took place just ahead of a passing storm, but the weather did not dampen the spirits of the crowd. Onlookers applauded as 10-year-old Angel Arellano stepped up to handle the ribbon-cutting honors. Using the oversized ceremonial scissors provided by the Burton Middlefield Chamber of Commerce, Angel made the cut official.

The new location marks a fresh chapter for the restaurant, which has built a loyal following for its Mexican cuisine and bar offerings. Ramon Arellano, the owner, expressed gratitude to the community for their support during the transition.
